SECURITY MAN FINDS $10,000 AND REPORTS THE CASE

Billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu, shared the photo above showing him shaking a UBA security guard, Mohammed Ibrahim Ogbanago, who found and returned $10,000. While sharing the photo on his IG page, Elumelu wrote

"Last month, Mohammed Ibrahim Ogbanago, a security guard at the @ubagroup branch in Oba Akran, found $10,000 outside on the ground at his branch. In an unparalleled display of integrity, he decided to return the money.

When I heard about this story, I knew I had to meet the man who despite facing rising petrol & transportation prices and “tomato ebola” returned such a huge sum of money without recourse to himself. It was a pleasant surprise to hear him tell this story and about how he came to be in the board room with us. Even more surprising was hearing him speak about his passion for governance and integrity in leadership. BRUTAL ACT OF WICKEDNESS

 
Few days ago, Bara’atu Muhammad cut-off the genitals of her 23-day-old stepson, Buhari Muhammad, Dafe village, Niger State. Buhari’s father, Muhammadu Dauda married Buhari’s 21-year-old mother, 7 years ago and he is the first child of the union. He married Bara’atu just 4 months ago.
Bara’atu confessed that she took Buhari from his mother’s room where he was sleeping, to the toilet where she chopped-off his penis with a kitchen knife. Her words: “I decided to do that in retaliation to insults (I’ve been receiving) from his mother.
She has been insulting me. Anytime I complained to our husband, he will not take action. That was the major reason I used our kitchen knife to cut off his penis.” Meanwhile, the Niger State government has promised to take care of Buhari’s medical bills.
Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi who is taking care of Buhari at the IBB Specialist Hospital, Minna, said his penis has already been damaged and shrunken and that there was no way that it can be transplanted to its normal position. He said the medic will however, try their best to ensure that Buhari survives and lives a normal life.
Bara’atu has been arraigned before a magistrate’s court and remanded in Minna prison, pending the conclusion of investigations. This incident happened a few weeks after a 21-month-old boy Musa was severely mutilated by his stepmother in Kano.

NIGERIAN DESIGNS HIS OWN TRACTOR

 
Timothy Addigi Terfa is getting ready to launch a Nigerian-built tractor, BBC reports. Terfa said: “I designed and built this tractor, which is 100% Nigerian, with a team of skilled individuals.”He has called the tractor Ijodo, meaning labour in the Tiv language.
The tractor is designed with different attachments to cover a variety of farm jobs. Some Ijodo tractors have been sold, but Terfa is looking for more investment. He says: “My greatest desire is that someone out there will be encouraged and motivated to do something with the ideas they have to make Nigeria better.”…. instead of criticizing everything abt 9ja….

DJ OBI BREAKS GUINESS WORLD RECORD

DJ Obi, one of Nigeria’s foremost DJs has succeeded in beating the Guinness World Record for longest DJ set. He officially started from Wednesday June 22 2016 at 11:30pm. The record to beat was 8 days (200 hours) and he's aiming for 10 days (240 hours). He broke the 8 days record this morning at 7:30am. Congrats to him.

DSS ARRESTS A MEMBER OF IPOB (INDEGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA)

The Department of State Security DSS released a statement yesterday stating that it has arrested a member of ‎the Indigenous People of Biafra, Onwudiwe Chidiebere a graduate of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering who is allegedly working with  other members of the IPOB and some foreigners to plan a bomb attack on Nigeria’s largest computer market, the Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos.‎

The statement added that two suspected members of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) linked to Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) have also been arrested for planning the assassination of a Kaduna-based military officer and the bombing of oil and gas pipelines.
The statement reads:

“On 7th June, 2016, one Kabiru SHUAIBU, the ring-leader of a kidnap gang, comprising his accomplices namely: Haruna SALEH, Tukur SHUAIBU and Abdulmumuni ADAMUNA, were arrested by the Service along Murtala Muhhamad Bridge, along Lokoja-Abuja Highway, in Lokoja, Kogi State. The suspects were part of a criminal gang which has been terrorizing innocent citizens in the Northern region of the Federation. 

During their arrest, a locally-made pistol, seven cartridges, 14 mobile phones and N615,000 were recovered on them. On 8th June, 2016, one Reuben Akinbehinje aka Chairman, the ring-leader of a notorious kidnap syndicate, was arrested by this Service in Akure, Ondo State, along with five (5) other members of his gang namely; John Imoleayo Uche, Seun Lajuwon, Seun Iseoluwa Akintayo, Lateef Fayemi Hammed and Saheed Oyewo. 

The Akinbehinje gang has been the brain behind the kidnap of two Catholic nuns in the State and other criminalities such as armed robbery, hijack and diversion of fuel tankers and cult-related activities in Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Lagos and Kwara States. Similarly, on 12th June, 2016, this Service arrested one Ifeanyi Michael Onyike, a suspected kidnap kingpin at D-line, Port Harcourt in Rivers State. Onyike was involved in the kidnap of Ebere Chinda, wife to Igo Chinda, the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi. 

Further to this tactical offensive, on 25h June, 2016, in one of the North-Western States, one Sani Abdullahi, and his three accomplices, namely Rufai Tukur Abdullahi, Najeeb Abubakar and Abdullahi Ahmed, were apprehended by this Service. The group has concluded arrangements to embark on serial kidnap of high-value targets in Katsina State, before their arrest. 

This gang has hitherto been terrorizing the North-Western States of Kano, Katsina, Kebbi and Zamfara. In a bid to stem the activities of vandals in the Niger Delta, this Service effected the arrest of Selky Kile TORUGHEDI, on 17th June, 2016, in Calabar, Cross River State. Toruchedi is an ex-militant and suspected member of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), and was arrested for planning to assassinate one MB.Yahaya a serving military officer. Toruchedi, who is a close associate of Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), had already conducted surveillance at the residence of Yahaya in Kaduna, preparatory to his plot when he was intercepted. 

He is also fingered as a sponsor of pipeline vandalism in some States in the South-South region. Suspect is currently assisting the Service, with critical leads. In a related operation, this Service arrested one Christian Oluba aka Sensor, another suspected militant with the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA). Sensorwas arrested while perfecting plans to carry out explosive attacks on critical oil and gas pipelines, including critical storage points. 

Meanwhile, sequel to increasing threat posed to public peace by the activities of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), this Service arrested one Chidiebere Onwudiwe, a graduate of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering and known member of IPOB, on 22ndJune, 2016. Onwudiwe and his associates within and outside the country, were planning to carry out coordinated attacks against religious bodies/edifices, Police-Check Points and the computer village in Ikeja, Lagos State, with Improvised Explosive devices (IEDS). 

The suspect was apprehended while making logistics supplies for their nefarious plan. In another development, on 19th June, 2016, at Langtang North LGA in Plateau State, this Service in liaison with the military and Police, arrested one Nanpon Sambs (aka Yabam), an illegal arms dealer. SAMBS is a member of a notorious black market arms syndicate led by one Peter Nehemia (aka Adagyo) which operates in the State. A Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launcher and circuit charger were recovered from a Toyota Highlander SUV belonging to the suspect‎".

In an interview with Variety, Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones" shot down rumors that Sansa Stark will marry Jon Snow.

It was also revealed that Jon Snow is the son of a Stark and a Targaryen too. According to an infographics released by HBO, Snow's father was Rhaegar Targaryen, making him the nephew of Queen of Dragons, Daenerys.

In an interview with Variety, Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark in "GOT" shot down rumors that Sansa Stark will marry Jon Snow.
