Muhammadu Buhari had a separate meetings on Monday with the FIFA
President Gianni Infantino and a former President Olusegun Obasanjo in
Aso Rock.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Buhari first met with former President Obasanjo in the Presidential Villa for over one hour, before the arrival of Infantino in what was described as closed doors.
The FIFA President was at the State House at about 1.50 p.m. and was accompanied by FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura, the Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung, and the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.
Infantino and Samoura, who arrived in Abuja on Sunday for a two-day visit to Nigeria, were scheduled to be guests at an under-13 exhibition football match at the Abuja National Stadium.
I just dey try reason wetin these two Generals go dey talk for the meeting. Concerning the meeting with fifa president, i sure say that one na just normal courtesy visit..
