So there was gist recently that someone impersonated Adekunle Gold at a club in Surulere.
Apparently this innocent guy is an upcoming artist that clearly looks like Adekunle but has never and doesn't plan to use that to his advantage.
Malvin Odigs is an upcoming artist that is currently working hard to build his own brand. I spoke to him few minutes ago and he is clearly sad about the incident.
Abeg, make we dey get our facts right before we disseminate wrong information to millions of people.

ReplyDeleteThanks James. You know the true story and the person in question. Malvin is not hungry as some bloggers purport him to be. Not when he is under my roof. He is an upcoming artist working hard to make a break through. We have been together in this for some months now and we are doing our thing "Clean". He may be someone's look alike, that is no crime, and he is trying to take advantage of that. I blame nobody either or angry with anybody. It is a honest mistake of identity. It is people like us who are very close that can easily see the difference. Their music is quite different having come from different background. That not withstanding, they are professional brothers. They will get to meet one day for good. We appreciate you "Bloggers" for bringing the young man to lime light. We understand you better despite the uncomplimentary comments you have made about this young man. You have won him more friends than he ever anticipated at this time. May your "pens" continue to flow in the positive direction in Jesus name. Amen.
